Clearwater Analytics today announced that Katya Surudina has joined the company as its new European Director of Sales to lead the company’s continued sales growth in Europe.
Katya brings to Clearwater more than 15 years of experience from her roles at global financial technology providers servicing the asset management community. Most recently, she was head of the EMEA Business Development team at Eze Software Group. There she was responsible for the expansion of their front-to-back solution across traditional and alternative asset managers. Prior to that, she ran client services teams for Tradar, a portfolio management and accounting software firm, and PerTrac, the analytics and risk software company.
Clearwater empowers investment professionals worldwide with collaborative client servicing paired with its leading SaaS solution for investment data management, reconciliation, accounting, and reporting. Clearwater has experienced accelerated growth during the past 12 months in the European market, which is increasingly in need of more efficient and automated investment operational tools. Based in Clearwater’s London office, Katya’s leadership over the sales team will be integral to Clearwater’s continued growth.
“I am excited to join Clearwater at a time of growing momentum. Clearwater has experienced substantial success building outstanding client service and a world-class product, and I am committed to building on these partnerships as we help more organisations run outstanding investment accounting operations to drive business growth,” Katya said.
In 2019, assets on the system held by European-based clients increased by 12%. From its offices in London and Edinburgh, Clearwater currently serves clients in 27 countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
“Clearwater’s growth in Europe, led by the hardworking and proactive teams in London and Edinburgh, has been thrilling to witness. Our firm has a very solid base on which to build, and our broad capabilities are essential for solving the increasingly complex problems facing asset managers, insurance firms, and corporations worldwide,” said Scott Erickson, Chief Operating Officer at Clearwater. “Katya is the perfect fit to lead our European-focused sales team and, with a deep background in FinTech, will help us explore new ways to solve the needs of Clearwater’s current and future clients.”
